Ralph A. Cantafio, P.C. and his staff have been practicing law in Northwest Colorado since 1986 and has offices in Steamboat Springs and Craig, Colorado. Mr. Cantafio holds a Masters Degree in Mineral Economics from the School of Mines and is devoted to the continuing industry related education of his staff.

Our goal is to make our knowledge of the oil and gas industry available to all whom may need it. In some cases, legal representation is necessary; however, in many cases our clients are able to meet their objective with one of our on staff consultants at a more reasonable cost. Our consultant help clients negotiate contracts, leases and agreements on a daily basis and have a great working knowledge of the industry and related law.

The Law Offices of Ralph A. Cantafio, P.C. are dedicated to serving the legal needs of our clients throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. In addition to legal representation, our firm offers legal consulting services involving the Oil & Gas Industry in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. Our firm is experienced in all aspects of the oil and gas industry and has advised clients on oil and gas leases, surface use agreements, title opinions, mineral estate planning, seismic operating agreements, conveyances and many more aspects of the energy industry. Both our on staff consultants and attorneys have committed themselves to their continuing education of oil and gas law; including being active members in and attending numerous courses each year presented by the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, American Association of Professional Landmen, National Association of Royalty Owners, the Colorado Oil & Gas Association and many other regional oil and gas related organizations. Our firm is also dedicated to giving back to the community by giving educational presentations addressing diverse issues impacting the oil and gas industry (see our recent presentation link above).

Our objective is to provide quality legal services to all our clients in a comfortable environment. Unlike some area law firms, the Law Offices of Ralph A. Cantafio, P.C., has never attempted to represent a large number of clients. Every month our attorneys decline to represent many potential clients so as to not unnecessarily overextend our resources and being unable to conscientiously address our workload. This law office is simply not interested in paying little attention to a large number of clients. Rather, we attempt to devote our full attention to the smaller number of clients that we agree to represent. In pursuing this course of action, we are better able to dedicate our time and energy so as to be thorough and better responsive.
