Ralph A. Cantafio, Esq., is an oil and gas attorney that has been practicing law in Northwest Colorado since 1986, has a Master of Science Degree in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines and is licensed to practice law in Colorado, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Utah and Wyoming. He has represented oil companies, mineral companies, landsmen, recycling companies, landowners, and public entities on oil and gas issues, including lease and operating agreement disputes, joint interest accounting matters, gas contract litigation, acquisitions, product liability claims, tax matters, lease and agreement negotiations and regulatory issues.

Reed F. Morris, is licensed to practice law in Colorado. Before joining the Law Offices of Ralph A. Cantafio, P.C., Mr. Morris worked for a coalition of non-profit conservation groups based in Craig, Colorado (the Colorado Wilderness Network) focusing on western Colorado and southern Wyoming energy development. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law and the Lyman Briggs School of Science at Michigan State University.

Rosanna Slingerland, is our Managing Consultant, she assists oil & gas clients with matters where knowledge and experience in the oil and gas industry is needed, but an attorney is not necessary to meet the client’s objectives. Ms. Slingerland received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Geography from the University of Northern Colorado and has since continued her education through the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation course offerings. She has experience in assisting clients with oil and gas lease negotiations, title research and examination, royalty transfers, mineral deeds and surface use agreements.

Shauana Merrill, is our administrative director and can assist clients with any billing, scheduling or any additional administrative questions or concerns you may have. Ms. Merrill is a certified paralegal and has been working with Mr. Cantafio for the last ten years.
